Taylor Owen

Bio:

Taylor Owen is Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia, and a Research Fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at the Columbia School of Journalism. He founded and now edits an international affairs media platform called OpenCanada.org; the site is an experiment in building a community at the intersection of research, journalism and public policy. His most recent book is out with Oxford University Press, titled Disruptive Power: The Crisis of the State in the Digital Age.
