Bio:
Sara Sheridan is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Tow Center. She received her M.S. in Journalism from Columbia Journalism School, where she focused on data reporting, audio production, and local news reporting. Her areas of coverage include gentrification, labor rights, public policy, and restaurants (which, she will argue, are all connected).
Sara holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Political Science from Northeastern University. Her most powerful education, though, comes from her decade of work in the restaurant industry. She proudly hails from Philadelphia, where her most recent work on local protests against police brutality was featured in The Daily Beast
