Bio:
Samuel Earle is a Ph.D. student at Columbia Journalism School, researching the history of crowds, their relationship to different media technologies, and how digital platforms create new types of crowd dynamics, online and on the streets. He publishes political and cultural commentary in the New York Times, the Guardian, the New York Review of Books, and other major publications.
His book, Tory Nation: The Dark Legacy of the World’s Most Successful Political Party, was published in 2023 by Simon & Schuster.
