Bio:

Dr. Lindsay N. Green-Barber is the Director of Strategic Research for The Center for Investigative Reporting. From 2013 through 2015, she was an ACLSPublic Fellow at CIR, working as the organization’s media impact analyst. During this time, she studied the impact of investigative reporting and helped news organizations develop systems for measuring, analyzing, and maximizing their impact.Prior to working at CIR, Green-Barber was a Chancellor’s Fellow teaching at Hunter College in New York. During graduate school, she carried out primary research in Ecuador about indigenous organizations’ use of new information and communication technologies for social mobilization, while also working as a program director at an environmental nonprofit in Ecuador. Green-Barber earned her Ph.D. in political science from The Graduate Center at City University of New York in 2012. She is based in CIR’s Emeryville, California, office.​
