Bio:
Irene McKisson is the General Manager of Niche Audience Development at the Arizona Daily Star and the co-founder and leader of the hyperlocal digital product #ThisIsTucson — a startup-style, intrapreneur project of the Star. She has worked in the newsroom for more than 15 years in design, editing, social and audience. She is a member of the 2017 Online News Association Women’s Leadership Accelerator cohort, was named a Top 20 Digital Media Innovator by MediaShift in 2018 and has been teaching as an adjunct instructor in the University of Arizona School of Journalism for four years.
