Bio:

Gabby Miller is a Research Fellow at the Tow Center studying newsroom cutbacks amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. She holds a M.S. degree from Columbia’s Journalism School, where she focused on American politics and national security. She successfully completed her thesis on the ongoing Sept. 11, 2001 trials at Guantanamo Bay and the impending public reckoning of U.S.-coordinated torture.

She previously worked as a Media Intelligence Coordinator at Media Matters for America, a nonprofit media watchdog dedicated to monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation. There she worked on data projects tracking news coverage trends and analyzing the conservative media ecosystem, from reddit forums and talk radio, all the way up to Fox News and Trump’s Twitter timeline.
