Anthony Nadler is an assistant professor of Media and Communication Studies at Ursinus College. He is the author of Making the News Popular: Mobilizing U.S. News Audiences (University of Illinois Press, 2016). His current research focuses on conservative news, media and populism, and debates surrounding propaganda and civic culture in a digital media landscape. He is co-editing a volume tentatively titled News on the Right: Studying Conservative News Cultures and working on a book on Andrew Breitbart, Rush Limbaugh, Matt Drudge, and the rise of “countercultural” conservative media personas.
